Kaleidoscope - Framed 10x13 Monoprint Paper Collage

Description : Kaleidoscopes with their ever changing colors and patterns have always inspired me. Give a turn and see different colors and patterns emerge. The frame hardware on this art piece allows you to hang it vertically or horizontally - mix it up and feel that same childhood magic. There are nearly 50 individually created prints that make up this collage. I used different paint mediums and papers, then finished with acrylic paint accents. Designing this piece felt like quilting, placing many tiny pieces together to compound a single whole object that would reflect the sum of all its parts.
