Cardinal in a Snowstorm Shelf Sitter/Hanging Ornament

Description : This colorful little cardinal bird is toughing it out through a minor snowfall. He is brave enough not to huddle with his head tucked under his wing. No, this little bird is standing tall watching the snowflakes fall! He would be very happy to stand on a warm shelf indoors while it snows hard outside. What a cute holiday gift for a red cardinal collector or anyone who likes color for the winter holidays. He is created with acrylic paint over a collage of plaid shirt and solid fabric snippets. The whole scene has some texture because of the thickness of the paint and fabric. The scene continues round onto the edges of this solid repurposed (there was a commercially printed red barn on the original) block, which is 3/4” thick and has a keyhole slot for hanging on the back but can also stand up well on its own. It is finished with a satin spray finish to give it a light sheen for a festive feel.
