The outside cover is beautifully hand slow stitched with a gorgeous colorfully butterfly that is saturated with stitches, French knots, and amazing details. It is set on a black & white strip of fabric & layered on a hand dyed piece of fabric that I dyed myself.This particular journal emphasized a turquoise & green palette. The binding is lovely bits a bobbles of fabric stitches, buttons, and a unique dangle made of thready scraps! A bright piece of turquoise sari ribbon accent the binding and the back of this lovely journal has another fabric collaged mini butterfly with its own slow stitches. This lovely journal is just stuffed with gorgeous details at every turn! It would make a wonderful gift or a special treat for yourself!
