A total of 12 wells to hold your paint, a water well and a palette with three separate little mixing spots. It comes without paint, but simply add a dab of your favorite tube watercolor into each well. The wells will also hold small pans of watercolor but in this case the mixing palette must be removed and travel separately with you in order to fully secure the lid.
