Collection: Corinne Pert

Corinne Pert lives on the coast of Maine surrounded and inspired by nature’s beauty.  Once a happy, healthy hiker, Maine Master Naturalist, and lifelong educator, Corinne now lives well (and happily!) with stage IV cancer, finding joy in the everyday every day, watching and photographing the scenes and life around her,  and crafting her days away. Corinne does some type of art play every day, learning from and with other creatives such as those in the Sisterhood of Maker Bees.  She enjoys sharing her work with friends and family, local nursing homes, “her” cancer treatment center, and selling it at local shops.

Corinne loves all mixed media, using vintage and antique ephemera in handmade junk journals (often using repurposed vintage book covers, her tea/coffee dyed papers and eco prints), natural dyeing and eco printing silk scarves and fabric (often using the pieces in slow stitch), making tiny Forest Friend dolls and art dolls, and needle and wet felting. Corinne uses repurposed and thrift store materials whenever possible, giving them new life.
