Collection: Beverly Swain

After having married her high school sweetheart and celebrating 50+ years together, Beverly lost her husband to Alzheimer's Disease 5 years ago.  Beverly's family of 3 living children, 12 grandchildren,  and 4 great- grandchildren helped her get past that bump in the road.  Another thing that kept her sane was volunteering as a docent at the St. Louis Zoo teaching people of all ages about wonderful animals.   Beverly likes to keep busy. She has always enjoyed making things with her hands but didn't become interested in mixed media until she found Jennifer teaching a class over 4 years ago.  Beverly was hooked and has been a Maker Bee since then.  Beverly became a Forever Bee when offered the opportunity and considers her membership in The Maker Bees to be one of the most important things in her life other than family. Beverly's favorite thing to do is to make Junk Journals and now she would like to share them with you.
