Collection: Crystal Atwood

Crystal is a true Texan who loves all things vintage and cowgirl. Being raised in a family of artists with a childhood spent traveling to weekend art shows exposed Crystal and and her artist sister Lacey to every form of art imaginable. She has tried so many, including painted furniture, repurposed junk, quilting, collage, drawing, junk journals, art journals, mixed media, watercolor, acrylic painting and even sculpting. 

Still a working Flight Attendant, Crystal has the opportunity to travel extensively and find thrift stores and estate sales all over to collect objects and ephemera to use in her art.

She has been married 34 years and lives on a small ranch in East Texas with her husband, who’s retired and has a woodworking shop. He encourages Crystal in all things artistic. Most weekends are spent hanging out with some of her eleven grandkids and working on art in her she shed.
